Nathalia Edenmont, née ''Nathalie Nicole Edenmont'', (born 7 February 1970 in Yalta, Soviet Union) is a Swedish-Ukrainian photo-based artist who came to Sweden and Stockholm in 1991.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Nathalia Edenmont Biography – Nathalia Edenmont on artnet )〕 Edenmont studied at an artist school for children in Jalta at Crimea where she studied art, music and balette. Both her parents died when she was a teenager, she continued to study in Kiev state artist school and also studied at Simferopol. She moved to Stockholm in 1991 and studied graphic design at Forsbergs skola.〔(Metro - Nathalia Edenmont ) Metro.se Retrieved 4 September 2015〕 Nathalia Edenmont portraits women and girls but also men in a stil that reminiscents of classical paintings,but she is mostly known for using dead animals and animal parts in her photographys. She gets inspired by herself and from places that hse has visited and want to by her art show the society's double standard.〔 She has had exhibitions in London, New York, Berlin and Moscow.〔
Edenmont has been reported to police for cruelty to animals after she beat a cat to death with a stick, she was also found guilty and ordered to pay 15,000 (sek) in fines after she used wings of unusual butterflies for commercial purposes.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Konst av kaniner. "Som mat för själen." )
Edenmont presented an episode of the Sveriges Radio show Sommar i P1 on 23 June 2014.
